Combining 1-1 support and personalised coaching\, this programme aims to boost your confidence and job prospects\, equipping individuals with practical skills in a friendly\, and supportive community environment. \n\n\n\nGeilsland Works covers various essential employability topics\, including but not limited to: \n\n\n\n\nWorkplace Orientation: Introduction to workplace norms and appropriate etiquette\n\n\n\nEmployability Skills: CV building\, interview techniques\, and job search strategies\n\n\n\nPersonal Development: Confidence building\, strengths assessment\, and goal setting.\n\n\n\nVocational Training: Specialised courses like STEPS to Excellence and Glasgow University Activate.\n\n\n\nPathways to employment: Exploring training\, study\, and apprenticeship opportunities.\n\n\n\nReal-world Experience: Practical work placements and volunteering in community projects.\n\n\n\nOngoing Support: Personalised approach and mentorship to overcome confidence and employment barriers.\n\n\n\n\nAlongside our various employability and learning opportunities within this course\, we are also pleased to be able to provide access to various accredited and coveted courses throughout the 8-weeks. \n\n\n\nTo ensure that all participants are provided the flexibility to learn and engage easily; we will provide free lunches\, a childcare creche\, and cover travel expenses for those who require it.
