DESCRIPTION:Date: Tuesday\, February 10th 2026Time: 9:30am – 3:30pmLocation: Geilsland Estate\, Beith\, KA15 1HECost: Free for childcare and early years staff\, childminders\, nannies\, family support workers\, etc. only \n\n\n\nBeith Trust & First Stop Safety Training are bringing a Paediatric First-Aid course to Geilsland Estate. This course will cover a number of different aspects of paediatric first aid\, including but not limited to: roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider\, CPR for babies and children\, choking\, burns\, scalds\, and fractures\, asthma\, diabetes\, and other common childhood emergencies. Anyone over 16 who works with young children\, babies\, or families will benefit greatly from this free course. \n\n\n\nParticipants are assessed throughout the course\, including a multiple‑choice assessment. On successful completion\, learners receive an FAIB‑accredited Paediatric First Aid certificate. The certificate is recognised by the HSE and Care Inspectorate and is valid for three years.
