DESCRIPTION:Geilsland Country Estate; your views on the future\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGeilsland Country Estate is celebrating the seventh anniversary of it’s community buy out! When the community buy out of Geilsland took place\, the aim was clear; for Geilsland to be repositioned as a ‘Gateway to North Ayrshire’. A community asset which would entice visitors and tourists to stop for a moment and linger in Geilsland\, Beith\, and the wider Garnock Valley. We wanted people to spend their time\, energy\, and money in our local community to benefit not just them but also our local business owners\, local community groups\, and our overall community. To promote this\, Geilsland has established itself as a local hub for local activities\, classes\, events\, and opportunities for learning and growth. Bringing these opportunities to life has\, and will continue\, to create an environment which fosters financial\, social\, and cultural growth for the Garnock Valley.  \n\n\n\nThe North Ayrshire community has continuously supported us across the years\, and as such we want to involve you as much as possible as we work on our progress. Now; we’re looking to Geilsland Country Estate’s Future. We want to think a bit further ahead about how Geilsland Estate can support our community to thrive in a future affected by increasing economic inequality\, a changing demographic\, the effects of climate change and migration.  \n\n\n\nTherefore\, we’re asking for your help. We want to hear your thoughts\, your ideas\, and your opinions on just what would take Geilsland to the next level in the future. Help us to continue supporting our local community in very uncertain economic\, socio-political and environmental times. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Playday at Geilsland’s Haybale Maze! \n\n\n\nNational playday is a national celebration and campaign focused on children’s right to play. This year’s theme is All to play for; highlighting that play should be free to everyone and for everyone. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe had an absolute ball celebrating national playday at Geilsland last year; so we’re doing it again! Come along on Wednesday\, August 3rd for a fun afternoon of games\, activities\, music\, and play. We’ll have our massive haybale maze; the perfect climbing frame for big and small kids\, and a smaller haybale session for smaller ones to enjoy\, as well as different play areas\, crafting\, and a musical corner.  \n\n\n\nTickets are completely free (but we’re accepting donations at the door!) and we ask that you RSVP below to ensure your place.Come by anytime between 11am and 3pm and play to your heart’s content!

DESCRIPTION:Come create with us at our crafting workshops!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us at Geilsland Estate on Thursday\, July 28th and/or Thursday\, August 18th for a fun afternoon at our crafting workshops! We’ll welcome the wonderful Michelle Winslow from Winslow School of Art and Design who will teach us how to make our own flower crowns\, fairy wands\, balloon swords and doggies on leashes. These workshops are perfect for all ages (but we ask parents to stay with children younger than 5!) and we’ll provide all you need; just bring yourself.Make sure to get your tickets ASAP! Don’t worry if you can’t find your purchased ticket in your email inbox; we’ll have our own list of ticket holders’ names!
