SUMMARY:Monthly Led Cycle - September
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next block of Monthly led cycles\, happening on the second Saturday of every month! Beginning on Saturday July 8th we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles\, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub\, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists\, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am; leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely\, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. These are for your own protection and the safety of those around you when on the cycle: \n\n\n\nPre-start Sign-up form \n\n\n\nEssential cycling skills information course \n\n\n\nCycling Safety confirmation form \n\n\n\nBy signing up to this course you are also providing us with confirmation that we may use your details to record our programme and its attendees. DESCRIPTION:Our summer block of mothly led cycles is happening this July and the second Saturday of each month following! Beginning on Saturday July 8th we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles\, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub\, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists\, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am; leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely\, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. To celebrate the National Playday campaign we will once again be hosting a free\, family fun day at Geilsland Estate for the whole family. This event is totally free to attend and a perfect way to get the little ones out the house during the summer holidays. SUMMARY:Monthly Led Cycle
DESCRIPTION:Our summer block of monthly led cycles is happening this July! Beginning on Saturday July 8th we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles\, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub\, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists\, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am; leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely\, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. These are for your own protection and the safety of those around you when on the cycle: \n\n\n\nPre-start Sign-up form \n\n\n\nEssential cycling skills information course \n\n\n\nCycling Safety confirmation form \n\n\n\nBy signing up to this course you are also providing us with confirmation that we may use your details to record our programme and its attendees. This 4 session beginner Ukulele lessons block will give you some solid foundation skills and techniques to set you to be a ukulele player. We will cover some basic chords\, to get you started\, some funky strumming patterns to bring your songs to life\, and some sweet riffs to really impress your friends and family. SUMMARY:Dance Classes
DESCRIPTION:Increase fitness\, flexibility and social skills at our amazing new dance lessons. You will learn dance skills and have a finished routine that you make up as a class! \n\n\n\nBeginning on Monday July 3rd we’ll be hosting a 6 week block of dance classes in Geilsland Studio for 5 – 12 year olds. These classes are great for young beginners\, experienced dancers\, and total newbies and is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills! 5 – 8 year old lessons will be held from 11am – 11:45am and 9 – 12 year old lessons are from 12pm – 1pm. The classes will run as follows: \n\n\n\nWarm up – each class will start with a warm up which will include cardio and stretching. Which will help with stamina and to prevent any injuries. \n\n\n\nChoreography– Lizzie will teach a dance to all the children which will help improve dance skills\, listening skills and will help everyone feel like a team. \n\n\n\nCreative – Each class the students will be given the opportunity to work with each other to create their own dance. After each groups has made their routine\, Lizzie will assist each group in teaching it to the others. This will help with leadership skills and will help each other connect. \n\n\n\nCool down – At the end of class there will be a cool down to help stop the build up of lactic acidosis and also to prevent any injuries or soreness the next day. \n\n\n\nThe goals for each session are: \n\n\n\n-To improve on dance ability \n\n\n\n-To encourage an active and healthy lifestyle \n\n\n\n-To help with leadership skills \n\n\n\n-To improve overall physical and mental well-being \n\n\n\nThese lessons will run for 6 weeks\, every Monday in Geilsland Studio and costs only £20 for all 6 weeks. DESCRIPTION:Guitar lessons are back! Beginning on Wednesday\, May 17th we’ll be running weekly guitar lessons for young people (both beginners and improvers) for only £20 for the whole 6 weeks. Don’t have your own guitar but still want to learn? Don’t worry; we have spare equipment you can use if you don’t have your own! \n\n\n\nThese lessons are perfect for those who have never played the guitar before and are interested in learning or who have experience but want to learn more. In these session you’ll learn the anatomy of a guitar\, how to play a variety of chords\, to read a chord chart and TAB notations\, and play a number of songs and riffs! You’ll also be able to play songs with other students and improve your overall skills. \n\n\n\nThese sessions will run as follows: \n\n\n\n7 – 10 Year Olds: 4pm – 4:35pm \n\n\n\n7 – 10 Year Olds session 2: 4:40pm – 5:15pm \n\n\n\nAdults Session: 5:20pm – 5:55pm \n\n\n\nThese lessons will run every week on Wednesday at Geilsland Country Estate’s Studio. DESCRIPTION:Beith Beer Hall is back once again! Join us on Saturday\, April 29th for a day of fun\, beer\, and live music! We’ll have some familiar faces popping by; with the wonderful Fizzbuz attending with their prosecco and spirits bar\, and everyone’s favourite Thistly Cross Cider. Along with this we’ll have our usual new host of beers\, ales\, and IPA’s from local brewers there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We’ll also have our usual amazing lineup of local bands and singers to get you up on the dancefloor (dad dancing is welcome necessary). This event\, as always\, is dog and child friendly; with a dedicated kid’s corner available with toys\, activities and dress-up games for the little ones to enjoy! DESCRIPTION:An unforgettable music experience \n\n\n\nBand factory is back! Our biggest and best music event of the year is back for 2023. Beginning on Monday\, April 10th\, we’re inviting you along to a week-long\, unforgettable\, musical experience that’s suitable for any style of musician. \n\n\n\nWondering if band factory is for you? If you’re a young person\, between the ages of 12 and 18\, and you can play an instrument (any instrument at all; we’ve even had bagpipe players before!) then you’re the perfect fit! Beginning on Monday April 10th\, you’ll first be introduced to our team\, and the wonderful Pryde Kilwinning who will be mentoring you across the week\, and then your bands will be formed. From there you’ll spend the next couple of days deciding on your setlist\, practising and having a jam with your new band. At the end of the week you’ll be playing a set at our showcase event to celebrate and showcase your hard work and practise. \n\n\n\nIt’s a great opportunity for young musicians. Not only to showcase their talents and perform in front of a live audience; but also to make some musically minded friends. Or maybe even be part of the Garnock Valley’s next biggest band! We’ve seen many successful musicians and bands come through our band factory project; and you could be next. So what are you waiting for? Get your tickets now! Spaces are limited so to avoid disappointment we advise you book in as soon as you can. The full weeks worth of activities is only £20 per person. \n\n\n\nJam sessions will run from 11am – 4pm and the gig will take place on Saturday 15nd April\, time TBC. Bring a packed lunch for your jam sessions (or pop into Mocha Jaks if you fancy).  \n\n\n\nWe’ll be taking regular photos and videos of both the jam sessions and the gig performance. Please let us know well in advance if you wish to not be photographed or filmed. We also have spare equipment available if you would like to partake but don’t have an instrument of your own. SUMMARY:Monthly Led Cycle - April
DESCRIPTION:Introducing our next round of monthly led cycles! Beginning in April we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles\, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub\, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists\, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run on Saturday April 8th and Saturday May 13th from 9:30am – 12pm. Leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely\, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. \n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. These are for your own protection and the safety of those around you when on the cycle: \n\n\n\nPre-start Sign-up form \n\n\n\nEssential cycling skills information course \n\n\n\nCycling Safety confirmation form \n\n\n\nBy signing up to this course you are also providing us with confirmation that we may use your details to record our programme and its attendees. This information will be used solely in Beith Trust’s system and will not be given to any third parties or used for marketing purposes.
