Monthly Led Cycle – September
9 September @ 09:30 – 11:00

Join us for our next block of Monthly led cycles, happening on the second Saturday of every month! Beginning on Saturday July 8th we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am; leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years.
If you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. These are for your own protection and the safety of those around you when on the cycle:

Pipe Band Drum Lessons
13 July @ 11:00 – 12:30

We’re bringing pipe band drum lessons to Beith Trust Music Project’s catalogue of music lessons; in association with the Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums!
Discover the captivating world of drumming through our expert-led lessons at Geilsland Estate. From beginner to advanced, unleash your rhythmic potential and become a master of the beat. Join us today and let the drums ignite your passion for music.
We have lessons available for ages 8 – 21 years and will provide all the equipment needed, no need to bring anything! Pipe drums are a great, underappreciated, musical instrument that, with a full pipe band, sounds amazing!
Our sessions will run as follows:
8 – 11 year olds | 11am – 11:30am
12 – 15 year olds | 11:30am – 12pm
16 – 21 year olds | 12pm – 12:30pm
Spaces are limited for these lessons, and we’re running the whole six weeks for only £20 so we’re expecting it to fill up quickly! Book your space below and begin your drumming journey!

Dance Classes
3 July @ 11:00 – 13:00

Increase fitness, flexibility and social skills at our amazing new dance lessons. You will learn dance skills and have a finished routine that you make up as a class!
Beginning on Monday July 3rd we’ll be hosting a 6 week block of dance classes in Geilsland Studio for 5 – 12 year olds. These classes are great for young beginners, experienced dancers, and total newbies and is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills! 5 – 8 year old lessons will be held from 11am – 11:45am and 9 – 12 year old lessons are from 12pm – 1pm. The classes will run as follows:
Warm up – each class will start with a warm up which will include cardio and stretching. Which will help with stamina and to prevent any injuries.
Choreography– Lizzie will teach a dance to all the children which will help improve dance skills, listening skills and will help everyone feel like a team.
Creative – Each class the students will be given the opportunity to work with each other to create their own dance. After each groups has made their routine, Lizzie will assist each group in teaching it to the others. This will help with leadership skills and will help each other connect.
Cool down – At the end of class there will be a cool down to help stop the build up of lactic acidosis and also to prevent any injuries or soreness the next day.
The goals for each session are:
-To improve on dance ability
-To encourage an active and healthy lifestyle
-To help with leadership skills
-To improve overall physical and mental well-being
These lessons will run for 6 weeks, every Monday in Geilsland Studio and costs only £20 for all 6 weeks. Spaces are limited and pre-booking is necessary, so don’t hang around! Get your tickets today at the tab below.

Guitar Lessons
24 May @ 16:00 – 18:00

Guitar lessons are back! Beginning on Wednesday, May 17th we’ll be running weekly guitar lessons for young people (both beginners and improvers) for only £20 for the whole 6 weeks. Don’t have your own guitar but still want to learn? Don’t worry; we have spare equipment you can use if you don’t have your own!
These lessons are perfect for those who have never played the guitar before and are interested in learning or who have experience but want to learn more. In these session you’ll learn the anatomy of a guitar, how to play a variety of chords, to read a chord chart and TAB notations, and play a number of songs and riffs! You’ll also be able to play songs with other students and improve your overall skills.
These sessions will run as follows:
7 – 10 Year Olds: 4pm – 4:35pm
7 – 10 Year Olds session 2: 4:40pm – 5:15pm
Adults Session: 5:20pm – 5:55pm
These lessons will run every week on Wednesday at Geilsland Country Estate’s Studio. Spaces on this course are limited and pre-booking is necessary; which you can do below. We can’t wait to see you!


Under 18’s Drum Lessons

Under 18’s drum lessons are back once again!
Have fun by learning beats, looking at a variety of music styles, jamming along with backing tracks, and learning different techniques & drum standards. There’s a class for everyone, so come along, learn new skills & make friends. There are three different session types running: Beginners, which is perfect for those who have never played before or are getting back into drumming. Improvers, which is great for those who have some knowledge of drumming or have been to lessons previously, and Intermediates for those who have a fairly good understanding of drums.
The sessions will run on the following times at the following times:

Ukulele Lessons
4 July @ 11:00 – 13:00

Have you ever wanted to learn an instrument and didn’t know where to start?
Come join Ukulele Saz, and you’ll be playing along to your favourite songs in no time! This 4 session beginner Ukulele lessons block will give you some solid foundation skills and techniques to set you to be a ukulele player. We will cover some basic chords, to get you started, some funky strumming patterns to bring your songs to life, and some sweet riffs to really impress your friends and family. The ukulele is a great way to learn an instrument, make friends, and most of all, experience the joy of playing music with others!
These 4 sessions will run as follows:
Tuesday July 4th & July 11th
11am – 12pm for 7 – 12 year olds
12pm – 1pm for 13 – 18 year olds
Tuesday July 18th & July 25th
11am – 12:15pm for 7 – 12 year olds
