Happy Easter Holidays everyone!
In this blog entry, we’ll be talking about the Easter programmes that we ran over the Easter holidays! First up is our amazing Easter Camp, which was started up and run by our amazing volunteers Bora Zabransky, Shelley Oxley, and our brand new Project Lead Scott Hindmarsh. Easter camp has been a fun-filled two weeks at Beith Astro with lots of different games, activities, and fun. We’ve had our art hut; filled with paints, pens, and creative crafts, our Astro filled with football games, obstacle courses, and den building. Inside we had lots of different activities and rooms like our playdough room, wand making, trainset room, puzzles and jigsaws and our quiet room for anyone who just wanted some peace and quiet!
Alongside this, we’ve had our coveted band factory up and running during the Easter break! With help from the wonderful Creative Kilwinning, and our modern apprentices Mark Liddell and Ross Lynch, we’ve had a group of different musicians all come together to make their own bands and develop their own unique sounds and setlists. Over the week they’ve been practising and getting to know each other ahead of their big gig night which took place on Saturday the 16th. At the gig family, friends and music fanatics all met together in our Geilsland Studio to listen to the band’s first official performances!
If any of these events sound like your or your family’s kind of fun there are always activities running at Beith Trust (usually for free!) for you and your little ones to get involved with. Keep an eye on our social media and our website for more info and lots of different events to choose from!
