Discover the joy of traditional Scottish music and various fun activities at Wee Pipers in the Park!
Wee Pipers in the Park is a special event for children aged 7 – 16, hosted by Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums and Beith Trust, at Geilsland Estate. This five-day programme will take place on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th of August, running from 10am to 2pm each day, costing a total of £50 with refreshments provided; children should bring their own packed lunch. Participants can enjoy a wide range of activities from music tuition to arts and crafts activities, and games both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting)!
Each day, the children will receive instruction in either the chanter or drums from our skilled tutors, making it an ideal opportunity for both beginners and those with more experience to improve their skills.
An added bonus for the participants is the chance to join the National Playday event at Geilsland on Wednesday, 5th August. This event offers another day of fun and activities for all ages!
Wee Pipers in the Park is a wonderful opportunity for young people to immerse themselves in music, make new friends, and have a fantastic time during the summer holidays.
