Join us for our upcoming Led Cycle Rides of 2025! These activities are perfect for getting out of the house and enjoying the beautiful countryside, organised with Ride 63 and The Trinity Active Travel Hub.

We’ll meet at 9:30am at Geilsland Estate to get our bikes ready and set off promptly. Each ride will last between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the weather and the preferences of the participants. Our routes primarily follow quiet country roads, with very short sections on busier roads.

Please note that participation is limited to 5 people per ride, so be sure to secure your free ticket early to guarantee your spot.

Important details:

– Helmets are mandatory.
– High-visibility clothing is strongly recommended.
– These sessions are for adults aged 18 and over.
– Please ensure you’ve completed your Essential Cycling Confidence form and registered with Beith Trust (if you’ve previously signed up with Beith Trust, you don’t need to do this again!)

Join us for a delightful family night filled with music, dance, and merriment at the Garnock Valley Pipes & Drums Ceilidh Fundraiser! This event aims to raise funds to support the GVPD’s initiative, providing traditional music tuition for children in the Garnock Valley and keeping traditional Scottish alive in North Ayrshire.✨

Experience a live performance by our talented young Garnock Valley Pipes & Drums students, enjoy the charm of the Highland Dancers, and try your luck at our enticing raffle featuring many incredible prizes. The night will be alive with Ceilidh music and dancing, featuring live music from the fantastic Finsky Ceilidh. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start, and we’ll be wrapping up at 10:30pm; plenty of time to grab a taxi!🚕🍻

Our fully stocked bar awaits you, and a dedicated children’s area ensures the little ones have a great time too. Feel free to bring your own snacks for your tables, or indulge in the delicious offers The Munchy Van will be bringing along!🍔🍟 We will also have our tuck shop offerings, which include a variety of juices and crisps for the little ones.🍭

Volunteers are the backbone of Beith Trust, and the majority of our projects couldn’t happen without the hard work of our volunteer teams. Cheers for Volunteers is to celebrate their hard work and recognise their accomplishments across 2024✨🙌

Whether you’re a long-standing volunteer, a one-off volunteer, or are completely new to volunteering you’re welcome to come along and enjoy the festivities and learn more about Beith Trust.

Starting on Monday, January 13th, Beith Trust is offering a free 3-week self-confidence-building course, running from 10am to 1pm. This course is designed to help you build on your existing strengths, boost your confidence, and equip you with the tools to become the best version of yourself. The dates will be Monday January 13th, 20th and 27th in 2025.

Participants will enjoy a free lunch, have travel expenses reimbursed, and access a free crèche for those with children.

From classroom to career: your journey to employment success

Introducing Geilsland Works block two; a free, 8-week, skills and employability programme based at Geilsland Estate, designed to provide participants with essential skills, real-world experience, work-related training, and various accredited qualifications. Combining 1-1 support and personalised coaching, this programme aims to boost your confidence and job prospects, equipping individuals with practical skills in a friendly, and supportive community environment.

Geilsland Works covers various essential employability topics, including but not limited to:

  • Workplace Orientation: Introduction to workplace norms and appropriate etiquette
  • Employability Skills: CV building, interview techniques, and job search strategies
  • Personal Development: Confidence building, strengths assessment, and goal setting.
  • Vocational Training: Specialised courses like STEPS to Excellence and Glasgow University Activate.
  • Pathways to employment: Exploring training, study, and apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Real-world Experience: Practical work placements and volunteering in community projects.
  • Ongoing Support: Personalised approach and mentorship to overcome confidence and employment barriers.

Alongside our various employability and learning opportunities within this course, we are also pleased to be able to provide access to various accredited and coveted courses throughout the 8-weeks.

To ensure that all participants are provided the flexibility to learn and engage easily; we will provide free lunches, a childcare creche, and cover travel expenses for those who require it. Geilsland Works is perfect for anyone between the ages of 16 and 67 who is currently not in employment, education, or training. Are you active in your community, either through paid work or as a volunteer? Do you want to reflect on your community practice and explore new ways to make a difference? If so, the Activate course could be for you!

Join us for an information session and induction on Monday, 27th January 2025, to learn more about this exciting 10-week course, starting on Monday, 10th February 2025. The course will run every Monday for 10 weeks, offering a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of community work values and principles.

About the Course
Activate is designed to strengthen communities by empowering individuals to reflect on their community engagement in light of core values and principles of community work. Through informal, participative teaching and learning, the course challenges participants to think more deeply about their roles in their communities and how they can contribute to meaningful change.

After School Chanter & Drum lessons

Running every Monday from 4pm to 6pm, these sessions are open to all young people aged 8 – 16. All levels are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary.
