As part of our Geilsland Works employability programme, we are pleased to invite you to a free Emergency First-Aid Course on Tuesday, 24th September, from 9:30am – 2:00pm. This comprehensive session is designed to provide you with vital life-saving skills, and upon completion, you will receive an accredited certification in emergency first aid.

In addition to the practical training, we are offering a free childcare creche for parents who wish to attend but need a safe and engaging environment for their children during the course. Lunch will also be provided, ensuring a comfortable and focused learning experience.

This is an invaluable opportunity to gain essential first-aid knowledge, enhance your confidence in emergency situations, and obtain a recognised qualification. We look forward to seeing you there!

Emergency First Aid Training

Discover essential skills for responding to emergencies at our comprehensive one-day Emergency First Aid workshop. Learn how to act safely and effectively in various situations and learn the ins and outs of: infection control, CPR, AED usage, treating unconscious casualties (including seizures), managing wounds and bleeding, handling shock, minor injuries, and responding to choking incidents.

Tickets are only £5.00 per person and open to all individuals over 16. Assessment is ongoing with continuous observation and questioning throughout the day. Successful participants will receive an approved First Aid certificate from the FAIB (First Aid Industry Body), valid for three years! We will also provide lunch for all attendees and will have tea and coffee available throughout the day.
