There’s treasure to be found at Geilsland Estate!

Our annual sculpture trail event is happening again this year! Primary and Secondary schools from all across North Ayrshire were invited to enter our sculpture competition; with this year’s theme being Climate Change and its effect on us and our planet. As usual, we’ll have our line-up of summer activities based around this trail, with the first being our annual treasure hunt!

On July 14th, from 12pm – 2pm, we invite you to come along and find the hidden sculptures all around Geilsland Estate by using a treasure map. If you find all the sculptures successfully you’ll win a prize!

This event is family-friendly and perfect for any children under 14. Pop along to Geilsland Estate any time between 12pm and 2pm to receive your map and set off on your treasure-hunting adventure. This event is totally free to attend for everyone, RSVP below to confirm you’re coming!

We’re bringing new art to the Astro! Every Thursday you can join us at Beith Astro for an afternoon full of creative crafts, pretty painting, and tantalising tie-dye. We’ll be running these fun afternoon activities every Thursday from 3:30pm – 5pm and each week will be a new activity. These include; a tie-dye workshop, sculpting activities to celebrate St. Andrew’s day, wrapping paper printing and Christmas bauble making! It’s only £5 per child for all 4 weeks, but pre-booking is necessary and space is limited. So, don’t hesitate! Get booked in now and let’s make some art.

Join us for out Mind and Draw art workshop! In collaboration with the wonderful Mind and Draw we’ll be hosting an art workshop for adults in North Ayrshire. Come along and make some art, have a chat with some new, friendly, faces and bring out your creative side! Both workshops are only £3 per person, which covers all of your materials. Our Haybale Maze is coming back for summer 2022!

Looking for some fun things to do in summer 2022? Then you should visit our one-of-a-kind haybale maze!

Our giant maze is built using large straw bales provided by local farmers and makes for the perfect environment for big and little kids alike to climb, jump, run, and play. The maze will be open throughout the whole of the summer holidays and we’ll be running lots of different activities and events throughout; including crafting workshops, music workshops, a sculpture treasure trail, and our amazing national playday event.

The maze is open throughout the school summer holidays; opening Monday, July 18th and closing Friday, August 19th; so drop in anytime between these dates to climb and play!
