Discover essential skills for responding to emergencies at our comprehensive one-day Emergency First Aid workshop. Learn how to act safely and effectively in various situations and learn the ins and outs of: infection control, CPR, AED usage, treating unconscious casualties (including seizures), managing wounds and bleeding, handling shock, minor injuries, and responding to choking incidents.
Tickets are only £5.00 per person and open to all individuals over 16. Assessment is ongoing with continuous observation and questioning throughout the day. Successful participants will receive an approved First Aid certificate from the FAIB (First Aid Industry Body), valid for three years! Beginning in March we will be running 3 spring led cycles, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub, a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists, but new to using e-bikes. Leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am on:
