Embark on a wild adventure with our Nature Play Easter Special! Join us on Friday, April 5th and Friday, April 12th from 10am to 2pm at Geilsland Estate for a day filled with nature-inspired fun and excitement. Whether you’re a budding nature enthusiast or a seasoned adventurer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at our Nature Play Easter Special!

?️ Dates: Friday, April 5th & Friday, April 12th
? Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
? Cost: £3.50 per child. Tickets are available to purchase below or upon arrival on the day.

? Activities include:
? Storytelling: Unlock a new world through our storytelling sessions.
? Face Painting: Transform into your favourite woodland creature or springtime character with our face painting fun!
? Treasure Hunt: Search high and low for hidden treasures hidden amongst the Geilsland trees.
? Arts and Crafts: Unleash your creativity with hands-on crafting activities inspired by the outdoors.
? Oldschool Games: Rediscover the joy of classic outdoor games that are fun for kids big and small.
? Hammocks, Swings, and Dens: Relax and play in our nature-inspired play areas, complete with hammocks, swings, and cosy, cool, dens.

?️ Online booking is preferable, but tickets will also be available for purchase on the day. Don’t miss out on this egg-citing event that celebrates the wonders of nature and the spirit of Easter!

Embark on an unforgettable journey of Easter delight at our FREE Easter Camp, running Monday – Friday from April 1st to 12th at Beith Astro, Meadowside Pavilions, KA15 1BY. This week-long celebration is designed for the enjoyment of kids aged 5 to 12, promising a splendid time from 10am to 2pm.

? Children’s Forest Friends Adventure?

Embark on a thrilling 6-week journey into the heart of enchanting Scottish nature with our Children’s Forest Friends course! This unique and immersive program is designed to ignite your child’s curiosity, foster a deep connection with nature, and instil essential life skills in a safe and exciting outdoor environment. Across the 6 weeks we’ll be exploring:

? Nature’s Wonders
Through captivating hands-on activities, your child will engage in sensory experiences, wildlife tracking, and plant identification. From bug hunting to bird watching, these activities are all about nurturing a genuine appreciation for Mother Earth.

?️ Mastering the Art of Den Building
Unleash your child’s inner architect as they delve into the art of den building! Through teamwork and creativity, they will learn to construct shelters using natural materials found in the forest. These weeks will encourage problem-solving, cooperation, and imagination, all while fostering a sense of accomplishment in crafting their very own woodland hideaways.

? Fire Safety and Wilderness Skills
Safety comes first! In these sessions, your child will be introduced to the fundamentals of fire safety, teaching them responsible and respectful ways to interact with fire. From building and tending fires to toasting marshmallows, they’ll develop a keen understanding of fire’s role in the wilderness and how to harness its power responsibly.

? Creative Learning
Let your creative side show and grow! Using various aspects of our natural world we’ll be creating beautiful works of art, cool creations, and more.

?‍♀️ Active Play
Climb, jump, run, and play! Exploring the great outdoors we’ll encourage your children to boost their physical health by playing to their hearts content.

? Time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm

? Cost: Free! However donations are welcomed and appreciated.
? Instructors: Experienced nature educators and outdoor enthusiasts!
?️ Limited Spots: To make sure everyone is safe and allowed time to be creative and engaged we can only accept 18 children each week. First come, first served!

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy, waterproof, outdoor clothing and footwear
  • Water bottle and healthy snacks
  • A spirit of curiosity and adventure!
