? Children’s Forest Friends Adventure?
Embark on a thrilling 6-week journey into the heart of enchanting Scottish nature with our Children’s Forest Friends course! This unique and immersive program is designed to ignite your child’s curiosity, foster a deep connection with nature, and instil essential life skills in a safe and exciting outdoor environment. Across the 6 weeks we’ll be exploring:
? Nature’s Wonders
Through captivating hands-on activities, your child will engage in sensory experiences, wildlife tracking, and plant identification. From bug hunting to bird watching, these activities are all about nurturing a genuine appreciation for Mother Earth.
?️ Mastering the Art of Den Building
Unleash your child’s inner architect as they delve into the art of den building! Through teamwork and creativity, they will learn to construct shelters using natural materials found in the forest. These weeks will encourage problem-solving, cooperation, and imagination, all while fostering a sense of accomplishment in crafting their very own woodland hideaways.
? Fire Safety and Wilderness Skills
Safety comes first! In these sessions, your child will be introduced to the fundamentals of fire safety, teaching them responsible and respectful ways to interact with fire. From building and tending fires to toasting marshmallows, they’ll develop a keen understanding of fire’s role in the wilderness and how to harness its power responsibly.
? Creative Learning
Let your creative side show and grow! Using various aspects of our natural world we’ll be creating beautiful works of art, cool creations, and more.
?♀️ Active Play
Climb, jump, run, and play! Exploring the great outdoors we’ll encourage your children to boost their physical health by playing to their hearts content.

Mini Sculpture Workshop

Calling all mini artists in training; get ready to unleash your creativity and bring your imagination to life with our captivating Mini Sculpture Making Workshop! Join us for an unforgettable artistic experience where you’ll learn the art of sculpting and create your very own unique masterpiece. Whether you’ve used clay before or have never touched it, this workshop is perfect for you. We’ll have step-by-step guides available showing you how to make little animals sculptures, pencil holders, characters, and more, or you can make whatever your heart desires.
This workshop is perfect for little ones aged 5 – 12 and is only £5 per child! We hope you’ll join us on Saturday September 2nd, 12pm – 2pm at Geilsland Studio to make some wonderful and weird creations together! Get your tickets below to avoid disappointment.
Guitar Lessons Block 2

These in-person lessons allow you to learn at your own pace, with a professional, high-quality, tutor guiding you along the way. You will develop your skills and knowledge of music theory and practice techniques that will help you become the confident, creative guitarist you desire to be. With 6 weeks of lessons for only £20, this course will show you how to master basic chords, scales, and strumming patterns to complex riffs and solos. National Play Day

It’s that time of year again; National Playday 2023 is happening at Geilsland! To celebrate the National Playday campaign we will once again be hosting a free, family fun day at Geilsland Estate for the whole family. We’ll have lots of fun, exciting things to do at the event; including, but not limited to, football, arts & crafts, karaoke, a massive haybale maze and music! This event is totally free to attend and a perfect way to get the little ones out the house during the summer holidays. Drop by any time between 12pm – 3pm and enjoy all we have to offer.
The weather in August can be very unpredictable; sunny days, rainy storms and everything in between. We strongly suggest if you wish to attend that you prepare for all weather; bring along a raincoat, comfortable shoes, and suncream with you. We’ll have water available on-site to keep you hydrated!
This event is family-friendly and we kindly ask that parents, guardians, and carers stay with their children for the entirety of the time they are at the event.
Scottish Ceilidh

An exciting new event to celebrate all things Scottish and raise funds for the Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums and the Garnock Community Campus Parent’s Council!
Join us as we gather to celebrate all things Scottish this February at our Scottish Celebration Night! On Friday, February 17th, we will be hosting our first-ever Scottish celebration night at Geilsland Estate; celebrating all things Scottish and raising funds for our local community groups; The Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums and the Garnock Community Campus Parent’s Council.
We’ll have a host of Scottish singers, musicians and bands; including the excellent Binky Blue, as well as a Scottish Ceilidh to round off the evening. FizBuzz will be back once again with their fully stocked bar; offering plenty of prosecco, spirits, and soft drinks (so no excuses for not dancing at the Ceilidh; you’ll have plenty of liquid courage available!), and we’ll have a charity raffle available too. Every ticket holder will be provided with a free, hot, pie; either haggis or macaroni, with their purchase of a ticket, and under 12’s will be provided with a small snack.

Under 12’s Ticket – Free
Table of 6 Ticket – £35 (saving you £7 in total!)
This is a great event for the whole family and it’s sure to be a blast. We hope to see you there to celebrate all things Scottish and dance the night away. We expect tickets to go fast; so dinny linger; get a shift oan!
Ceramics Classes

We’re hosting a brand new series of Ceramic classes for adults and kids! Join us at our Geilsland Estate Studio on Monday October 17th to try your hand at ceramics. Work with a proper kiln and ceramic paints to create your own masterpieces. Make your own mugs, Christmas decoration, Halloween ceramic, or whatever else takes your fancy!
Adult ceramic class
Our adult ceramic class will run on Monday October 17th from 5pm – 7pm and is only £10 per person. Work with a proper kiln and create your own ceramic creation. They will then be transferred to be fired and a week later you can collect your brand new, handmade, beauty.
Child ceramic class
Our child ceramic classes will run on Monday October 17th from 10am – 1pm. Classes are only £5 per person. During your chosen class you will work with clay to make your very own project and then beautify it with a selection of paints and sealers. A great way to be messy, have fun, and get your own creation at the end! We’ve also added another child’s class on Tuesday, October 18th due to high demand!
