Family Fundraising Ceilidh

Join us for a delightful family night filled with music, dance, and merriment at the Garnock Valley Pipes & Drums Ceilidh Fundraiser! This event aims to raise funds to support the GVPD’s initiative, providing traditional music tuition for children in the Garnock Valley and keeping traditional Scottish alive in North Ayrshire.
Experience a live performance by our talented young Garnock Valley Pipes & Drums students, enjoy the charm of the Highland Dancers, and try your luck at our enticing raffle featuring many incredible prizes. The night will be alive with Ceilidh music and dancing, featuring live music from the fantastic Binky Blue. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start, and we’ll be wrapping up at 10:30pm; plenty of time to grab a taxi!
Our fully stocked bar awaits you, and a dedicated children’s area ensures the little ones have a great time too. Feel free to bring your own snacks for your tables, or indulge in the delicious offers The Munchy Van will be bringing along! We will also have our tuck shop offerings, which include a variety of juices and crisps for the little ones.
Come together for a night of fun, all while supporting a wonderful cause. Your attendance makes a difference in nurturing the musical talents of the Garnock Valley’s youth. Let’s make it a night to remember! ?
Winter Led Cycling

Introducing our next round of monthly led cycles! Beginning in November we will be running 4 monthly led cycles, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub, a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists, but new to using e-bikes. Leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am on:
- Saturday November 11th
- Saturday December 9th
- Saturday January 13th
- Saturday February 10th
If you’re interested in coming along you must first complete the following health and safety forms. These are for your own protection and the safety of those around you when on the cycle:
