? Pumpkin Patch Adventure: Collect your treasure trail sheet and set off on your adventure throughout Geilsland Grounds to find our pumpkin patch! If you manage to crack the clues you’ll be led to our pumpkin patch and discover the perfect pumpkin to take home. From big and round to small and quirky, you’ll find the pumpkin that’s just right for you!
? Spooky Arts and Crafts: Unleash your creativity as you dive into the world of spooky arts and crafts. From crafting ghoulish creations to decorating mini pumpkins, there’s no limit to the eerie masterpieces you can create!
? Musical Delights: Feel the rhythm of the season with lively, spooky, tunes that’ll have you dancing and grooving. Our music station will set the perfect atmosphere for a festive day of pumpkin picking.
?♀️ Magical Memories: Each child will receive their very own pumpkin to take home as a keepsake from this enchanting day. Capture the moment with a snapshot in our whimsical pumpkin-themed photo booth!

Price: £10 per child (accompanying adults enter for free)
Age: Suitable for children of all ages (recommended for kids 2-12 years old)

Attendees are welcome to come along in fancy dress to really soak up the Halloween spirit but we strongly recommend you wear comfortable, outdoor, shoes as the paths can be slippy and wet during the autumn months! When you book your timeslot, please ensure that you arrive no earlier than your timeslot states, and no later than 15 minutes before it ends. For example, if you chose 10am – 12pm, please do not arrive before 10am and try to arrive no later than 11:45pm to ensure you get enough time to enjoy all we have to offer!

Embark on a thrilling 6-week journey into the heart of enchanting Scottish nature with our Children’s Forest Friends course! This unique and immersive program is designed to ignite your child’s curiosity, foster a deep connection with nature, and instil essential life skills in a safe and exciting outdoor environment. Across the 6 weeks we’ll be exploring:
? Nature’s Wonders
Through captivating hands-on activities, your child will engage in sensory experiences, wildlife tracking, and plant identification. From bug hunting to bird watching, these activities are all about nurturing a genuine appreciation for Mother Earth.
?️ Mastering the Art of Den Building
Unleash your child’s inner architect as they delve into the art of den building! Through teamwork and creativity, they will learn to construct shelters using natural materials found in the forest. These weeks will encourage problem-solving, cooperation, and imagination, all while fostering a sense of accomplishment in crafting their very own woodland hideaways.
? Fire Safety and Wilderness Skills
Safety comes first! In these sessions, your child will be introduced to the fundamentals of fire safety, teaching them responsible and respectful ways to interact with fire. Let your creative side show and grow! Using various aspects of our natural world we’ll be creating beautiful works of art, cool creations, and more.

Climb, jump, run, and play! Exploring the great outdoors we’ll encourage your children to boost their physical health by playing to their hearts content.

Botanic Art Workshop

Join us for a captivating Botanical art workshop at Geilsland! We’ll be using nature’s beauty and artistic expression to make beautiful pieces of expressive art. Immerse yourself in a creative and educational experience that celebrated the intricate details and vibrant colours of the plant world.
In this workshop, led by our wonderful tutor Laura, you will learn the fundamental techniques of botanical illustrations; from sketching to shading and watercolour painting. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience in art, this workshop welcomes all skill levels. Our skilled instructors will guide you in observing and capturing the intricate details of plants. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of botanical subjects and styles and learn the true extent of your artistic talents! The workshop provides a nurturing and supportive environment, encouraging participants to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic style.
We have two different sessions running on Friday August 11th:
Child only session: 1pm – 2pm | Perfect for children aged 10 – 18 who want to try their hand at learning to take their art skills to the next level or to try something new!
Adult & Child session: 3pm – 4pm | the perfect session for adults and children to make art together! Each child needs an accompanying adult for this class. One ticket covers 1 child and 1 adult.
Tickets are very limited due to class sizes, so make sure you book in now to avoid disappointment!
Monthly Led Cycle

Our summer block of monthly led cycles is happening this July! Beginning on Saturday July 8th we’ll be hosting monthly led cycles, in collaboration with the wonderful Trinity Active Travel Hub, which is a free programme aimed at getting people out of the house and engaging with our ongoing e-bike scheme. This course is perfect for beginners who are confident cyclists, but new to using e-bikes. The sessions will run from 9:30am – 11am; leaving from Geilsland Estate we will meander through the Scottish countryside on a lovely, leisurely cycling experience. Helmets are mandatory and we strongly recommend that individuals wear high-visibility clothing. These sessions are for 18+ years.

Youth Open Mic Night

Introducing our youth open mic night, the latest venture from Beith Trust Music Project! Join us on the last Thursday of each month, beginning May 25th, at Beith Community Centre for an evening of live music. Each month you will have the opportunity to come along and perform any songs you like, no matter your skill level, genre, or experience, in front of a live audience. If you don’t fancy performing you’re more than welcome to pop along and just enjoy the good music and great vibes. Entry is free for all and the event will begin at 6:30pm. Our monthly youth open mic night is a great opportunity for young performers and musicians to play in front of a live audience, get some experience, and maybe make some new friends!

Beith Beer Hall is back once again! Join us on Saturday, April 29th for a day of fun, beer, and live music! We’ll have some familiar faces popping by; with the wonderful Fizzbuz attending with their prosecco and spirits bar, and everyone’s favourite Thistly Cross Cider. Along with this we’ll have our usual new host of beers, ales, and IPA’s from local brewers there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We’ll also have our usual amazing lineup of local bands and singers to get you up on the dancefloor (dad dancing is welcome necessary). This event, as always, is dog and child friendly; with a dedicated kid’s corner available with toys, activities and dress-up games for the little ones to enjoy! No need for a babysitter!
